Post-birthday-ness

Watched three old episodes of Buffy.
Had a birthday bagel.
Moaned about not feeling very well.
Phoned the bank.
Moaned about that.
Cheered up.
Topped up the credit on my phone.
Received the following things: nice bag, two types of chocolate, bottle of wine, bracelet, and the fabulous 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation' by Lynne Truss. Hoorah!
Baked buns.
Had tea and buns and crisps with friends.
Had a glass of wine.
Watched some rubbish on cable.
Went to bed.
Could not sleep, due to hideous stomach cramps. Got up and wrote some stuff (glee!)
Went to sleep, may have dreamt of hobbits.

Not the world's most prolific author, unfortunately - she wrote a fairly mad novel about Virginia Woolf's great aunt (among others) which I read and enjoyed a while back, but doesn't seem to have produced anything since. Must look out for this new one.

I hope you got your Birthday Email, for I know not which email address to use (I tried one only for Hotmail to go all arsey on me and say it couldn't be sent, so I tried another.)

Anyhow, I'm glad to hear you had a nice day even if you did have the cramps (and not The Crammps, which I just wrote and which, if I remember rightly from my youth were an 'outrageous' band from the US.)
