The management would like to apologise for the recent drop in standards on this journal. This is due to cutbacks: our former policy, "Never do anything now if it can be put off until later", was, perhaps inadvisably, cut back to "Never do anything".

We at 'sheldrake' would like to assure our readers that everything possible is being done to remedy the situation. We apologise once again for any inconvenience caused.

I was just thinking that I'd love to see you both. The teaching semester is starting on Monday so this week and next will be hell-busy but after that, definitely a poss!

I'm so traumatised by being back at my institution that I've caught myself a cold. Maybe it's the same virus you had?? I'm muffled in scarves and fleeces, dowsing myself in lemsip and Bollywood tripe.

That would be wonderful! Well overdue, of course, but it's difficult getting round to things when everyone's busy. As we know. I can do most weekends, although my mum's birthday's coming up around the beginning of October. Hmm, but yes!
