Is that how you spell it? I can't remember, but I've had the word in my head for about three days now. I think this is because it was mentioned in a question on The Weakest Link.

Today Boromir is the piccy on my calendar! Hooray! I had to celebrate by moving him under the lamp so I could see him properly.

I have lured a friend of a friend into reading slash. Insert evil laughter here. She is a student-teacher of Media Studies, and apparently was using the Boromir death scene from FOTR to illustrate some point or other during a lecture. "Well, I don't know if anyone else is thinking what I'm thinking - they should kiss!" she quipped. (No, I know - I never went to a lecture where anyone said that, either). An uncomfortable silence filled the room. She moved hurriedly on to the next slide...

A perverse idea has been attempting to invade my brain. Maurice girlslash! Miss Tonks/Kitty, anyone? No, thought not. But it won't leave me alone, damn it. No matter that Kitty is actually quite unpleasant, and Miss Tonks doesn't even have a first name! I've decided it's Mabel, by the way.
