Well if you're going to be miserable either way, you might as well write about it, that's how I look at it! I'm currently re-reading The Illuminatus! Trilogy, which I think you would fancy - it's sort of Dr. Who-ish, with a healthy dose of conspiracy theory, drugs, sex and dolphins thrown in.
