Have you ever wished to make a formal complaint about something but not known where in blue blazes to send it? Ever thought, "Hmm, whinging about packaging and traffic in my LJ is all find and dandy, but why isn't there somewhere more... formal?" Well, lazlet and I have, and we decided we'd absolutely had it, we'd had it up the back teeth, with not having anywhere to send our formal complaints. So we made formalcomplaint. I wish to register a complaint, but I think I shall put it here instead. I received this email message this morning:

Hi lapin_agile,

sheldrake has posted a new entry titled "To: Dorothy L Sayers"

Now, please understand that I adore Ms Sayers and was naturally eager to read what one of my favourite fellow fans had to say to her. Imagine my consternation when I cannot find this post anywhere. ("ERROR. No such entry exists.")

I hope for some recompense for my disappointment in short order.

Oh. Hrm. I'll retract that complaint. I see that if I had put it where it belongs, I'd have found the entry. (I wonder why the link did not take me there directly?) I suppose that means that my complaint ought to have been directed to LJ instead.
