According to his PR chick, I made Eddie "uncomfortable"..but that's a whole 'nother story.

I want to become mildly famous so I can go on talk shows and have the amusing anecdote of "I was once standing next to a man in heels, a leather mini, and fake boobs, and I made *him* uncomfortable"...lol.

You made Eddie uncomfortable? How did you manage that? Enquiring minds...

Long story; I could send you the details via email if you wanted. It revolved around my minor stint as a journalist for an entertainment website and the mere fact that I dared to mention my attempts to get an interview with him after his NY show.

Apparently talking to him like any other human being was a total no-no...only my people could talk to his people. By phone. From remote unknown locations. Speaking in code and disguising our voices. Wearing masks, even though no one could see us.

The skinhead girl with the shirt that prominently displayed the words "SERIAL KILLER" was okay, but the silly sunburned girl with the cleavage saying "Hey, it would be nice to get an interview" was just too much to bear, I guess.

Not that I'm bitter. :P I've mostly gotten over it, as I did a few nice interviews with some really great people who each talked to me for an hour, so I knew I wasn't all that freakish and bad.

Ah, I remember you talking about this now. Feh. People are weird. Celebrity is weird. Ugh. How nice to be not famous, really, and not have to deal with all that crap. Although I wouldn't mind some of that nice celebrity money. ;)
