Yep, Amy - synaesthesia (with or without the the first 'a', depending on which side of the Atlantic you're on) is a condition in which the senses become somehow mixed, ie sound has colour, or colour has texture or taste. It's more common in women than men, and is hereditary. Having colours for letter, numbers and words is one of the less rare variants. So, as you can see, for vensre, the letter 'h' is a pale brownish colour, and 's' is black, whereas for me, 'h' is mauve-pink and 's' is yellow. But we both agree that Sunday is pale yellow and white. :)
Yes! I like to celebrate my birthday over the course of two weeks, and there's always at least three cakes. This isn't the end, yet, either!
