There was laughter, that kind of raw laughter you only get at funerals. It echoed very faintly inside him, and then, slowly, it faded out.
I'm just... wow. I've been trying to find words to tell you what this story made me feel for over a day now, and words still fail me.

I absolutely ADORE this. This is the kind of story that makes you shiver, and stays with you for a long, long time. And never stops making you shiver.
