tch.

I want to smash something. Only in a very vague sort of way, obviously. And then, you know, smashing stuff invariably leads to having to clean stuff up, doesn't it? Hm. Maybe I'll have a cup of tea instead. I dunno. Do I really want tea?

See, this is the sort of mood I'm in tonight.

*waves to [livejournal.com profile] lazlet*

If in doubt about anything, ever, my advice to you is: talk to [livejournal.com profile] lazlet. In fact that's my advice even if you're not in doubt about anything. But particularly I would advise talking to her before you throw quite a lot of money down the flippin' drain.

Oh, good thing though: I saw a shelduck the other week. It was quite close up and it eyed me with its eyes. No one managed to get a picture of it though, which is rather a shame. But I got pictures of seals! That's good, isn't it?

I'm not at all sure I can write any more. This is a right bugger.

I have got a headache.

Everything is stupid. Grrr.

*makes you tea*

Get some sleep, Duckie, things will feel less annoying in the cold light of day.

You never said about the shelduck! Mind you, I am aware that I hardly drew breath during the course of our conversation. ;)

But seeing a shelduck is fab! And pictures of seals as well!

Wolf in sheep's clothing! Viper in the nest!

*laughs hysterically*

heehee!

I meant to tell you about the shelduck but I forgot! Yeah, sleep. Good idea. Is it ok if I sleep all weekend? *answers self: no of course it's not*

Anyway, ta for the chat and the help, geek-girl! :)

and wouldn't a wolf suit like that be the coolest thing ever? i think they actually make them for kids, but not for grown ups.

[identity profile] sheldrake.livejournal.com 2005-10-16 02:11 pm (UTC)(link)
It would, it would!

[identity profile] lobelia321.livejournal.com 2005-10-14 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I love your posts.

Why don't you do a writing exercise in laconic writing? 100 words max.

[identity profile] sheldrake.livejournal.com 2005-10-16 02:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, that's not a bad idea.

[identity profile] almostnever.livejournal.com 2005-10-14 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm sure you can still write... and sometimes writing puts me in a better mood, so if you're inclined to try, I'd recommend it. Might make things seem less stupid. *squidges*

[identity profile] sheldrake.livejournal.com 2005-10-16 02:15 pm (UTC)(link)
You are right, indeed, and it has helped in the past ... I hope it will again. It's just all got a bit confusing. Bah! Anyway, thankeee! :)

If you drink rather too much tea, you can figuratively smash your bladder control. I've found this useful knowledge on long afternoons at work.

I don't know about you, but the thought of you in a wolf suit makes *me* feel better. :D

I reckon that Laz is pretty good value.

I do this every day at work! Usually the mornings though.

I don't know about you, but the thought of you in a wolf suit makes *me* feel better. :D

Ooh, saucy! ;)

have you read

*everything is illuminated*
...because you must! I saw a pic yesterday of elijah wood and the caption said he was in that film. But the book really relies for alot of the humour/emotion on how it is written, spelt, punctuated, typeface. Not all of course. Cracking story.

I have, I have! I just finished reading it, actually, and liked it very much indeed. I thought it was going to annoy me, actually, when I started reading it, but I found myself very moved by the end. And it was v. funny. Elijah plays Jonathan in the film (which I'm really looking forward to, although I'm not sure, really, how successful it can be. But we shall see!) Anyway, my mum's reading it now - her brother gave it to her for her birthday - and she's enjoying it too.

[identity profile] sophrosyne31.livejournal.com 2005-10-16 01:03 pm (UTC)(link)
i think i'd prefer to see you swimming naked in a giant vat of milk. so good for the skin!

and then we could make sheldrake-flavoured tea with the milk. omg i must be deranged to say such things.

er. *settles for: heart*

[identity profile] sheldrake.livejournal.com 2005-10-16 01:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee, you are funny and make me laugh.

ps. I like you deranged. Tell no one.

[identity profile] sophrosyne31.livejournal.com 2005-10-16 01:55 pm (UTC)(link)
is only fair, given how much glee you give meeeee

oh i feel a bit strange tonight. tired! and like you, convinced i cannot write to save my effing life. doldrummy! argh so many words and so few doing what i want them to do.

*holds your hand and sits quietly*

[identity profile] sheldrake.livejournal.com 2005-10-16 02:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Lobelia told me to do a 100-word exercise in laconic writing but I haven't done it yet. Felt very doldrummy indeed yesterday. Was supposed to go out and dance around and have fun but couldn't face it so I stayed in and we got a chinese takeaway watched very stupid TV for hours last night and it was fun and I woke up this morning and felt better. *pauses for breath* So that's good isn't it?
