I seem to have been very uncommunicative lately, sorry.
Me news is that I've got a new job, which is a relief as now I won't have to go on that killing spree. I can always put the weapons on eBay.
I've just come back from camping in the Sandlings, which was lots of fun, and also I like saying 'Sandlings'. We didn't get wet to speak of, I only got the very mildest of sunstrokes, and we got to listen to several bits of an open-air performance of Hamlet twice, for free! We followed the UFO trail backwards through the forest, saw no actual aliens but lots of butterflies, deer and cyclists. We nipped over to Shingle Street, another site of local legend, where the wind was very windy and the waves were very high. I collected pebbles for my bathroom. Then we had dinner at a pub by the river, where we spent a long time laughing at bad art. Trust me, you would have done too, it was extremely funny. This morning we visited a maize maze in the rain and I topped myself up with ice cream. Before we went home we stopped at Tesco's where I found myself entirely maddened by the return to civilisation and bought a large quantity of Stuff.
What else? The X Factor is back. Manipulative, cheap thrills telly, is what that is. And I am utterly powerless to resist its charms, yay!
Weekends. They really ought to be longer.

I didn't know you enjoyed camping! I do like forests and butterflies and deer, and cute male cyclists in spandex shorts of course...hee...but then I want to go back to a hotel and cable television!
Sounds like you had a lovely weekend. I myself collect pebbles and shells, and have a sea motif in our guest bath. I'm assuming there's a decorative reason for collecting pebbles for your bathroom?

Yes, I am really quite hardy. Well, sort of. Also, it's cheap. ;)
Pebble collecting is horribly addictive, and then you find you've brought half the beach home with you. But they are all arranged nicely on my bathroom windowsill now. :)
