Well, I got $10 000 for a play (awards money), but I'm still not professional. It's a hard life for a writer, etc., *emo tearz*. Got a lot to learn about prose, though. And if only crack were a dramatic genre, I'd be a very happy millionaire.

Anyway, looking forward to giving this a good read tonight!

I dunno - maybe there's a gap in the market...

I know, though, I've often wished they'd pay me just to be incredibly silly (I suppose that's called comedy, but then I fear there would be all sorts of work and stuff involved).

thanks! although it was over 10 years ago! but other things are brewing now... I may squeeze more money out of that one silly play yet!

& I can do any amount of work, as long as it's not my actual work. pretty sure everyone here knows how that feels!
