Stuff

This year I am going to get things done.

So far I have updated Twitter and Facebook telling everyone about how I've descaled the kettle. I didn't want you to be left out, LJ. Actually, I'm now descaling the kettle again, because the first one wasn't enough. Descaler is kind of a new experience for the kettle, it's taking some time to get used to it.

That piece of information was an exclusive, flist. Facebook and Twitter didn't even get that one. You don't have to thank me.

So, and yes. The other thing. When I removed my desktop computer, I suddenly had these obsolete sliding keyboard and mouse compartments on my desk. It has come to my notice that these spaces have somehow become clogged up with bank statements, correspondence, payslips, cds, manuals and other detritus. I have no idea how this happened, but I assume it was a similar process to that which led to me having a cup of limescale tea every morning. Anyway, I'm going in. With a pickaxe. And I'm telling you all about it, which is totally justified and definitely not any form of procrastination or distraction. Wish me luck!

ps. We can has new Doctor this afternoon. OMG!

Before we find out I might be sick with anticipation because I love David so much, nobody else could beat him.

Except maybe Eddie Izzard, to be fair. Or Stephen Fry.

I have heald out on Facebook, but a crazy computer geek fan actually created FriendFace, so I joined that instead!!!

I haff no idea about twitter and I am pleased I don't see your updates because Twitter annoys me!

Good luck! Accumulated mail is much more treacherous than lime scale deposits, so be careful!

Richard Coyyyyyle? It's not going to be, I suspect. Everyone is talking about Paterson Joseph, and since I realised he was the Marquise of Carabasse (sp?) in Neverwhere, I'm quite cheerful about it, because he was ... good. I do remember being absolutely gutted with CE's defection and thinking that DT just wasn't going to cut it for me - that lasted about ten minutes into his first episode! So whoever they pick, I'm sure we can trust that he'll be a good 'un.

Good luck with the stratigraphy on your desk!

I want Paterson, but with that Marquis hair and obviously gay. Yes, thats pretty much all I will settle for.

Good luck on the field, soldier.

What did you use to descale the kettle? I use vingear - works a treat and far less full of chemicals. :)

Mel cam round today and we ate HUGE amounts of food. We knitted and watched some CSI, then we watched Homicide [which she had never seen any of], the we watch the DW program and got underwhelmed by the 11th Doctor and then we ate more food and then she went home. A good day by any stretch of the imagination!

I feel so privileged!

:( I was going to use my "cuffay" icon but my paid account lapsed and I only have 6 (SIX!) icons. I'm kind of on the fence about going paid again. :\ What do you think?
