Just been reading on Tumblr how many people are apparently very upset at the presence of full stops in text messages.

It's because young people have invented a new language with no need for punctuation, and when their parents text them in real sentences they find the full-stops/periods threatening. They just have to keep reminding themselves that old people are aliens who don't understand the new speak, they don't mean to hurt. They just can't be communicated with because they don't understand the internet because they're SO OLD OMG.

You're a young type, so you probably know all about this! :) HOW ARE WE EVEN COMMUNICATING WE ARE OF SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT AGES
