This was my favourite bit:

Wonderfully captured. I don't know this fandom but the story was lovely in and of itself.

Lewis. Inspector Morse spin-off, apparently set in an alternative universe where Oxford is one of the most dangerous places on Earth. Many convoluted plots based on secret societies and obscure texts in Latin. Classic detective fiction of the highest, most occasionally ridiculous and deeply comforting order.
