I had a mental list of interesting things to write about in here, but I can't remember what they all were now. The main points being:

1. There is a large pile of washing up downstairs. It scares me. I feel I should probably leave it to its own devices for a bit, see what happens.

2. I seen Ned Kelly the other night, wheeee! Oh, and then I went back and reread [livejournal.com profile] lobelia321's amazing "History" and [livejournal.com profile] eyebrowofdoom's completely lovely "Beasts".

3. My monitor's doing weird things. I fear it may die.

4. I might make icons today, as I've seen rather a lot of this duck lately.
Mood:: yes

omg, Ned Kelly is out and I'm so caught up in teaching, it entirely passed me by!

And it's got a bloody 15 certificate -- how the hell am I going to take the kids to that one? *punches censorship board*

I expect it was the facial hair that tipped it over. That and the violence. And the gay sex. Except --no actual gay sex, obviously.

It is tiresome the way subliminal gay sex will garner you a 15 certificate these days.

I may have to complain to someone.

I think you should. I'll back you up on the gay sex front. Er. Or something.

Look here. *huffs* When I say omg 11, I mean precisely that: omg 11.

As in 'Ocean's 11'.

Omg 11. (pronounced: omggg eleven)

Oh ok. Is that good? Is it like Ocean's 11 but more exciting? I'm imagining it to be, but then I'm pissed on two glasses of wine.

I'm not sure I know what omg 11 means precisely. I may have to include it on my course. We will ponder the significance of omg 11 and analyse the cathected syntagm of its parapraxis.

To pick up another point from your post (aka spamming mindlessly): I adore [livejournal.com profile] eyebrowofdoom's Beasts!!

It is just *gorgeous* and I think everyone should read it, right now. It is, if possible, even more enjoyable when you've seen the film.

*giggurls*

As in: giggles with curls.

My inanity knows no bounds, it seems.

Nyahaha. Are curly giggles like curly fries?

My inanity is more inane than your inanity.

I find if you leave washing on its own for too long it tends to try and escape out the dryer venting. You might have to beat it back with a broom. -- Amy

This was washing up as in dishes. But thanks for the advice. The laundry is trying to make its own way downstairs to the washing machine, bless its little cotton socks...

My pile of washing up has been sitting and NOTHING has happened. I may have to do it myself. Those cats are worthless!!

Thanks for the recs shel, I haven't read either of them!

Cats are only good for sleeping in your clean laundry and covering it with fur. -- Amy

No problemo.

And I'm afraid cats will never do washing up like guinea pigs will.
