Ooh no, what a thought! I wrote this about someone I worked with once, who liked to work in the dark. (It was a really boring job).

Peering nonchalantly around the kitchen door to make sure no one is hanging around by the noticeboards, he makes a deliberate clattering with the coffee tin, and in a small, quick movement, draws out the secret packet of red-brown powder from his inside pocket. He puts it to his face for a moment and breathes in its heady flavours of iron and meat.
