Er. If you should happen to find yourself no longer on my friends list, um, sorry. It's not because I think you're horrible or anything, it just got to the point where I was so desperate to get to the bottom of the page, I wasn't actually reading anyone's posts. So, I kind of went through it with a strimmer. Don't take it personally.

Hm. I thought my copy of Belle & Sebastian's 'Boy with the Arab Strap' album had magically got all better after being fucked up by being left on the floor for a long time. But it has just proved me wrong in the middle of Seymour Stein. Ah well.

Saw Kill Bill last night. I loved it! Wow. And I've never been the biggest Tarantino fan in the world. Lot of blood though. Lot of blood.

Came back to find BBC2 had sneakily started showing Series 7 of Buffy without asking my permission. Ok, so I did know about this, I just forgot, but seriously -- Buffy on a Tuesday? Followed by Buffy on a Wednesday and a Thursday too? You've never done that before, BBC2! How am I supposed to remember such frankly bizarre programming? Do you know how long I've been waiting to see this? Do you?? *stabs BBC2 to death*

The other day I read some magazines belonging to others. I read Loaded in the morning, and Attitude in the afternoon. Not much in common, it's true, except they were both crammed full of the most hideous spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes! Bloody hell, is the world proofreader shortage really that serious? I mean, I work for the lowest, crappiest, crumbiest rag available anywhere, but at least we mostly manage to get our apostrophes in the right place. Jesus... Also, I noticed today that in part one of the Series 3 Buffy episode, Graduation Day, Giles says something like, "I suppose it ought to be I..." Disappointing behaviour from my favourite fictional librarian.

Which reminds me. Went past the local Baptist Church on my way back from the Co-op. They have a sign oustide saying 'Jesus - no spin with him!' Which was fun. Unfortunately it went on, 'Find out more about the worlds top man...' Aagh! Baptists! Your faith does not absolve you from the basic rules of punctuation!

You may get the idea from this post that I haven't done anything of great value recently. And you would be right.
Music:: Seymour Stein, fucked up
Mood:: okay

Well, I'm so glad the strimmer didn't get me....whatever a strimmer might be....heee...two countries separated by the Atlantic Ocean and all that.

I'm with you on the grammar usage...the newspaper is filled with mistakes, too, and I just sit there, gaping, going, "Doesn't anyone even have SPELLCHECK??" AUGH!! (of course this comment is prolly filled with a million errors and then it will be very embarrassing...)

It is very odd, but this morning I was thinking that I hate nearly all modern music and that I hardly listen to the radio anymore because a)all the damn commercials, and b)all the music sucks. So I started thinking maybe I needed to start poking around in groups that other people like, and I remembered folks talking about Belle and Sebastian...then I saw them on a talk show and quite liked them. But I totally forgot their name, and was wracking my brains for it, and knew no one could tell me who the hell that group was, with that guy, and that other guy, that has that name that is like some other guy's name, but isn't that guy.

But problem solved, as you mentioned it today! *hugs you*

They do have CD cleaners that fill in scratches and can save your CDs for you!!

A strimmer is a thing that makes an annoying noise, and you use it to cut bits of grass down the side of a path where the lawnmower won't reach, and I think hedges and stuff. I really have no idea. Anyway -- I shall never use one on you, so fear not!

Glad I could solve your B&S conundrum! (I'm sure I spelt that wrong, but who cares).

Season 7's just started here (on terrestrial -- I didn't have cable when it was on Sky) and they've shown the first three on consectutive days, and I've now missed two of them. *kicks self hard*

You're not missing much...and if you catch them in reruns, it won't matter that it's out of order. Season 7 did NOT live up to the previous six, IMHO. BUT - it did have it's moments.
