Nothing

Anyone looking for a subject for an essay or something? Well, I was just thinking, cos I'm reading this book by Neil Miller called Out of the Past -- Gay and Lesbian History from 1869 to the Present, and I think it would be interesting if someone did a study on the nature of female friendship and female environments, and drawing parallels between, say, friendships between upper middle class independent women in 19th century America & the 19th century women's college environment, and women writing in 21st century slash fandom. Because I'd quite like to read that.

What? What novel? 7,605, ok? I wrote three words today.

i just read a bunch of articles on the slash/fandom community and there were a couple of academics drawing parrallels between female writing communities a couple of centuries ago and the slash community... really quite interesting how similar they are. i can get you the title & author if you're interested.
