I'm sitting here watching the red carpet shenanigans at the BAFTAs, and trying to spot dandywalker and galactic_jack, who have gone down to London to be hoarded into a giant pen to stare at famous people. I'm also trying to catch a glance of ruby_rhombus who I imagine will be shepherding famous people around on the other side of the pens, and to write this, which actually means I'm not concentrating on anything. So far I've mainly seen lots of umbrellas and Ruby Wax waving a heater around.

Oh well, there were some other things but I can't be bothered with them now.

First of all, I can't BELIEVE they gave one to Catherine ZJ, whose full name I can't even be bothered to type. I mean, *her*, over Julianne Moore? I think not...

But anyway. We had Stephen, hoorah! I'm hopeless at remembering quotes, but he said something amusing about LOTR, and the battle between good and evil, and then good and evil getting on a bit better, and then getting on so well they're practically sleeping together. Told you I don't remember quotes.

And we had Sean, hoorah! Although I missed some of his lovely speaking voice because someone was trying to tell me how pointless his role in Ronin was, or something.

And we had Meryl Streep accidentally saying 'spank' instead of 'thank' and doing other funny stuff. So that's ok, even though I thought she really had a slight edge over Nicole in The Hours, and should have got the award, but I like Nicole as well, so that's ok.

And the rest of it was mostly boring, except of course for the lovely blushing Duck getting best costume design, and being shoved right to the very end of the programme, bah!

Apologies if I haven't made any sense, but I did contrelamontre today, and that thing turns me into a gibbering nervous wreck
