I spent Boxing Day revelling in the heady delights of slashababy and yuletide and now I feel as though I've eaten two large boxes of quality (not Quality Street) chocolates. So much good stuff, but I will just say this: if you're only going to read one Hitch Hiker's fic in your life, make it this one. Like, best story ever. Anyway, I feel I must do something constructive today.

I stayed up till 2.30 last night watching a very strange film about Japanese schoolkids killing each other on an island. It was kind of hypnotic.

The sun is shining. I am pleased about this. I will go to the shop and buy some food that is not in any way Christmassy.

There's a Making of Peter Pan thingy on ITV1 today at 12.30 with Jaaaaaaaaason being interviewed. MUST WATCH!! Why don't I have a Jason icon? hhmm? I think it's time for an overhaul. Add some Jason and Josh and whittle down the bike boys -- although I cna't imagine losing too many of those!

Battle Royale? I watched a poorly subtitled Hong Kong knock-off DVD of that, one of the ones where you were better off trying to read the Cantonese subs to figure out what was going on. But the character for 'death' is pretty universally recognisable. *shudders* That film gave me nightmares for days. And they've made a book and graphic novel series out of it, too.

That's the one. It was kind of nightmarish, but I couldn't stop watching it. I missed the beginning though, so I was a little bit confused, but it all came (sort of) clear in the end.
