Thanks to everyone who contributed to the fic rec request post. See how endlessly cool my flist is,
lauramcewan? :) [/smug]
I've got a hangover. Things need cleaning and tidying and so on. Humph. Outside, the light is falling away, drenching the garden and the tops of trees and houses in indigo. In other words, it's getting dark.
Um... I have nothing to say, once again. And how are you? Tell me something interesting, or if not, then something boring.

Re:
Hmm, no, can't see anything wrong with that at all. Seems perfectly reasonable behaviour to me.
But then I've spent all day recording myself reading my own fic embarrassingly badly (who knew Dom sounded like a female Alan Bennett?) instead of doing the washing up, so perhaps you shouldn't listen to me.
Interesting or boring? You decide.
Today I will be watching Lost in Translation and American Splendour on dvd. And maybe eating cake.
*smooooch!*

The judges' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The judge will not be bribed with smooches, snogs or other niceties, pleasantries, lozenges or complementary lemon-scented paper towels.

In Russia
I LOVED Lost in Translation. Wistful. Fabulous. Wonderful. I also like cake. We could be best friends.

Re: In Russia
*is duly rivetted*
I haven't seen Lost in Translation yet, but certainly looking forward to it. On the other hand, I'm quite well acquainted with cake. Also cheesecake. I
stolehad some earlier today.(no subject)
I felt like Doing Something Constructive earlier, so instead of cleaning the shelf above the washing machine that's all covered in melting drifts of three different kinds of washing powder, I signed up to Project Gutenberg's Distributed Proofreading project. It remains to be seen whether or not I ever do do anything constructive, but that felt vaguely like a start. Tomorrow I might clean and tidy, or I might not.
Re:
Interesting links, thanks!

Oh, and I saw Justin Timberlake fondling Janet Jackson... definitely goes in the boring category.
Re:
I'm not sure quite why people are making such a fuss about the Justin & Janet thing. Very odd...
