GIP!

Look, [livejournal.com profile] leeky made me this cool new duck icon! Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] leeky! :)

And in other news, therefore invalidating the GIP subject-line:

The other night we drinked some absinthe we did, and we played the game where you stick post-its on your forehead. Only the game disintegrated and died before I had the chance to discover I was John Humphreys from Radio 4's Today Programme. Ah, hilarity.

On Friday I did a bad thing. In my haste to get home I accidentally clicked on 'no' when I meant to click on 'yes'. That'll be most of a day's work down the drain then. Tomorrow surely will be just one long round of fun and laughter.

Best attempt at getting me to open an obvious virus ever: "Shocking document! I am shocked about your document!"

Today the weather is horrible and all the Barclays cash machines have run out of cash.

I am lazy.

Ducks always make me smile :)

*bows gracefully*

I never have experienced Absinthe, unless you count that scene in "Moulin Rouge" where Kylie Minogue flies around all green and fairy-like.

Computers should switch the "Yes" and "No" buttons around automatically on Friday evenings. I'm sure much work would be saved in doing this, although I'm not sure if I like the idea of a future where Friday afternoons are in any way productive!

Sadly, no Kylies were spotted during the course of our experiment. Just a slight blurring of vision.

They drank absinthe in Dracula (the Coppola version), it didn't seem to do anything great for them. What's it supposed to do?

me and Bela split a bottle of absinthe in Amsterdam. I did not see any green fairies, Kylie-looking or otherwise, but it was a severe drunk and the next morning I had one of the worst hangovers of my life! It was fab though - drinking absinthe had been on my life's to-do list for almost 20 years! And to go to the Van Gogh Museum the next morning was fantastic!

We didn't have very much, but that's probably a good thing, as I'd already had quite a lot of wine. Still, plenty left for another round!

It turns you into a maudlin nineteenth century artist? I don't think we had enough to get the full effect really.

Oi, who said that?

Ah yes. The only man who can wake me up at 7 am and not get something thrown at his head. And not just because his head's in Broadcasting House and I am not.

ps. that wasn't an order. You don't actually have to go for a wee. Unless you want to. You know where the bathroom is.
