Found!

The passport is found and I am saved! Now I can do my driving theory test, erm, hooray.

It was on the shelf above my desk, in an envelope of Important Things. *rolls eyes at self*

Thanks for all your help, everyone! :)

I was wondering if you needed it to swim the Channel, like David Walliams.

I did think of that, but I'm not keen on goose-fat. Didn't he do well though? I was well chuffed! (That's good, btw).

Could've sworn it was with the dog biscuits...

What is a driving theory test?

[identity profile] sheldrake.livejournal.com 2006-07-08 01:06 pm (UTC)(link)
The test you have to take before you take your 'real' (practical) driving test. You have to answer questions on the rules of the road, etc, by pushing buttons on a touch screen. Then you have to watch clips of driving situations and click a mouse when you see a hazard developing. I passed mine! :)

Yeah we have something like that too, we just call it the written test. I'm so glad you passed, congrats!!

Aaah, yes. The envelope filled with important things. That reminds me of my "Important Box," which gets all the things I don't want to lose; somehow I seem to lose them anyway, by either forgetting they are in the Important Box, or forgetting where the Important Box is at that moment.

Why does this happen, Shira? Why? It is so very frustrating, when you've gone to the effort to put things away safely and everything! The amount of time I spend in my life panicking and looking for things...

I know. I ask myself the very same question, lol.

I told you! Haha, I knew it all along! *hops up and down and ponders marketing her strange long-distance finding powers*

When I first scanned your post, I thought, 'aha, she is going to do a diving test' and had visions of you in a scuba suit.

How did you know??? You're scary!

Well done! The times I've put something away for safety and then had to get a new one because the hiding place is so damn safe I can't find it ever again are numerous to say the least.

I'm far too scaredy to learn to drive. You're very brave.

Thank you! But who are youuuuuu?
