You'd think it was some kind of international holiday or something.

Oh all right, Merry Crimpleen everyone. That's if you celebrate Crimpleen, and I know I do. Mmm, synthetic fabrics are so delicious.

Well, I'd better go and peel some potatoes, I suppose. May the gods of Crimpleen not come down and smite you, today at least.

This post brought to you by AN ATTEMPT TO STAVE OFF ENSUING MADNESS OMG!

ps. I got TWO whole and glittering Shaun of the Dead fics for Yuletide, so HA! Take that, ensuing madness!

Yes.

*pets*

You're off back home this eve, yes? Not long now! Already afternoon. :)

I am on the sofa under a blanket considering getting some breakfast!! I went out at half eight to feed Monty [the cat who lives next door to Deborah] and give him his pill and will venture out once more this eve to give him the second pill!! I am so far managing not to get all down and weepy. Go me!!!

Hope the Christmas lark gets a bit more bearable very soon.

Well done you! :)

I am practising fortitude; it's a lovely medieval instrument similar to the dulcimer.

ooh! I love medieval music! Can you learn a couple of madrigals? We can practice them when I see you. :)

Hang on in there! It's Doctor Who in just over 6 hours!

Madrigals are lovely! :) We should so do one!

I am currently awaiting the arrival of the Mad Buggers, as they shall henceforth be known. Who knows whether they will in fact turn up! Things are cooking. Etc.

Seriously, Doctor Who is the main thing I've been looking forward to this xmas! *is in no way sad*

I am somewhat hoping that the Mad Buggers fail to turn up. Either way, hopefully the madness will be at a dealable level and that you have a peaceful time.

There's nowt wrong with Doctor Who being the highlight of Xmas!

*is sad along with you*

It was a bit grim, to be honest, but I am now recovering. Ahhh, normality! :)

T'was a lovely occasion - thanks so much for the lovely dinner and prezzies! Those boxer dogs are the best, ain't they?

We celebrated by not going anywhere and not doing anything but opening presents, watching telly, and getting Chinese take-out for dinner, it was wonderful!!

That sounds absolutely divine - in fact I may base the rest of my life on this concept!
