So, I did the LJ strike, did you notice? It was partly just to see how staying away from LJ for 24 hours would affect my astounding lack of productivity. Turns out... not so much. I just hung out on the rest of the internets instead.

Then I tried to buy tickets to see Simon Amstell, but it's already sold out, which is sad. :(

I have done some knitting, though.

Dont you wish I'd stayed away longer?

ETA: Also listened to Tariq Ali on Desert Island Discs. Also watched the Paul O'Grady Show!? Life without LJ... it's weird.

I remembered, too late, that the Theatre Royal, while beautifully restored to all its Georgian splendour, only holds about 8 and a half people, one of whom will be sitting on somebody else's lap. Possibly, I should have got onto it earlier.

I'm knitting a jumper! It's a very confusing pattern, and it's currently looking a bit small, but I'm enjoying it anyway. I also just baked shortbread. Am thinking of moving to the 1950s.

Exactly. Life without LJ is very weird. I ate an entire easter egg and researched kestrels.

Pity about Amstell. I wish I could see him, too.

That sounds like a pretty good day. :)

Yes, I am very grrr about Amstell. They only went on sale on Monday, but I was too stressed/apathetic to sort it out straight away. Then I remembered that the theatre is roughly the size of an eggcup, so perhaps I shouldn't be too surprised. Darn it! I was having such a good run of live comedy, too.

I didn't strike, to be honest. However this is mainly due to the fact that I am oblivious to the goings on of most things until after the fact.

Damn people you want to see selling out! It's just not on, I say.

I have been in a nostalglic fic related strange 24 hours, I think this is due to lobelia posting lotrips.

Ahh, dear old lotrips... those were the days, weren't they?

*drowns in nostalgia*

Haha. It's so long ago now! Feels like about ten minutes ago...

I don't know if I striked or not. I didn't post anything or comment on anything from Thursday until now, but that was because I just couldn't be bothered, not because I was On Strike.

Shel! I'm going to see Russell Brand!

Ah, you'll love it, he's wonderful live! :D

Hair looks fab, by the way, and I'm sure Russell will think so too. ;)
