1. Walking miles and miles and miles omg to the post office depot place to pick up a blue glass bottle I bought off eBay in a moment of extreme randomosity. Whatever, I'll go after work one day next week. No, honestly, I will. Mm.

2. Taking over the world. Again, next week.

There's nothing else I won't do today. Nothing!

REC: Takin' Over the Asylum is coming out on DVD on June 9. Finally, finally! This is such a good series -- I loved it when it was first on't telly, and I saw it again recently and it was still fantastic -- knocks most recent TV drama into a cocked hat, frankly. Lots of people, of course, will want to watch it now for the admittedly quite adorable BABY!TENNANT (not that that's a bad reason), but it's got a whole lot more going for it than that. SO WATCH ITTTTT!!!! OMG or, you know, don't. But really, do.

BYE!

ps. try to pretend some of that actually made sense.

I'm astonished to hear that Takin' Over the Asylum is coming out on DVD--I never thought they'd get the music rights.

Very exciting news!

I think that's the reason - most of that music has just passed into the public domain, so now they can! HOORAY! :D I pre-ordered it as soon as I heard.

I heard that was brilliant (quite naturally, if Tenns is in it)

Have a lovely day of not doing!

Oh, it's really good and funny and moving -- and Tenns is a little young, cute, annoying manic depressive Tenns with floppy hair! :) And Spike Milligan's in it.

ooh, I remember that series. I watched it when it was first on, I would've been twelve years old. I didn't realise that guy was david tennant until now, but of course that's who it was. I may rent it.

Oh, do - it's really worth watching! I didn't twig for ages that the guy in that and David Tennant were the same person. Someone just pointed out that Ashley Jensen of Extras/Ugly Betty fame is also in it very briefly. But I didn't even get that when I saw it again... she's quite well-disguised.

Seriously, do you want some books? Do you know anyone who you think might vaguely want some books? If you might, feel free to copy the list to them or something!

What about reference books? Complete works of Shakespeare, either in a single volume or lots of little, old, hardbacks? History/music/food/plants/cricket??

What about *anything else* that might reasonably be found in a house that has been occupied long enough to accumulate random stuff? Plant pots? seeds for things to grow in them? jam jars full of pencils and biros? (ok, only two of those, but still....)

(the boxes of stuff to go to the tip contain at least five teapots, and they're only the chipped ones or ones with no lids or something)

(do you want any little bits of string? no? really? we've got lots....)

(why yes, I may be losing the plot a little. but at lest it's sunny now)

Hahaha! Stop it, people aren't meant to encourage my hoarding habits!

No, seriously, I meant to comment to the books post, but I was at work. So cool, I'll definitely take you up on a few, but I think it might take me a while to go through...

Free stuff, how can I possibly resist? :) Thanks!

Actually, come to think of it, I can think of someone who might be very interested! I'll send him the list... :)

Ooh, seeds... do you know what they are?

They are all in carefully labelled little packets, I know that much. And there are lots of them.
... of course, I'm not *entirely* certain that they're still there, not having looked in the glasshouse today. But I don't think they've gone.

What they are is lots of things, but what I don't know is how old they are, so they might have gone off a bit, as it were. I'll check what I can in the morning.

(I'm sure I must have made a flower icon of some kind at some point, hmmm... maybe I'll make one now to avoid doing anything *else*)

It arrived yesterday and is now resplendent on my bathroom window sill, looking... very blue. :)

Your recommendation on the DVD is good, I saw a bit of it but never figured out what was going on so I let it go, but I'll grab it now!

How are your books? Mine are amazing. I realised I don't know the LJ name of the lady who gave them to us. Could ya help? ;)

Awesome, of course. :D The person you're looking for is lebannen -- look a few comments above this one... ;)
