In a valiant attempt to destroy any last lingering shreds of popularity that I might actually possess, I have been writing poetry. Even better, fannish poetry! Here's a loathsome little Lotrips dirge which has been languishing on my hard drive these past several centuries. I decided to finish it because I hate you all.

Now, if that hasn't actually killed you, I shall continue. Over the past year, I have been working my way very slowly through Stephen Fry's The Ode Less Travelled, which is a lovely guide to proper poetry what scans and shit. This is my very, very poor attempt at a sestina. It is, as I may have mentioned, very poor, but it is a sestina. This may not really be reason enough to inflict it upon you, but I don't actually care.
Title: Jackie Tyler's Sestina
