It is Monday tomorrow and then I'm just basically working and being busy until some time in mid-January. I find this slightly sad, so I have done a very long meme in which I answered inane questions stupidly to cheer myself up. And here is is!

Ok, against my better judgement, I'll play that game. I started keeping a diary when I was 17. It is, of course, hideously embarrassing. It's also incredibly boring. Several distinct themes emerge. These could be roughly categorised as Is She Really Going Out With Him?; Parties I Have Been Unhappy At; Books I Have Read and Not Understood; and Dodgy, Dodgy Opinions.

I missed most of today's photo opportunities because I left my camera at home. So instead of seeing, for instance, the fascinating inside of Caffe Nero, or the SO ALMOST BLOODY PERFECT dress I had to leave in Debenhams, you just get a bunch of out-of-focus pictures of my books.

Sorry, you get short-changed today because my camera battery ran out and the replacement battery doesn't charge properly. Also, have resolved to start wearing weights down my right hand side, seeing as how I obviously couldn't hold a camera straight if my life depended on it.

A week in the life of Sheldrake the Dull-- teh rules (I reserve the right to maybe not bother to actually follow any of these rules properly):

1. You must take between 6 and 8 new photographs per day.
2. Your WITL must be consecutive. No skipping days.
3. You must post your photographs at the end of that day, sometime after the last picture is taken.
4. Each photograph must have the time taken beneath and a title, with no other explanation.
5.You must post these rules at your first entry, then link back to it forthe other six days so that people will know wtf you're doing.
6. Your post must say "A Week in the Life of [your name/username], Volume [whatever day you're on]."

Here is my first day's photos. They will most likely continue to be a) not great, seeing as I'm not a great photographer, and also people keep looking at me, like I'm doing something weird or something, wtf. b) missing out huge chunks of my day, those chunks being me at work, having a not-great time not taking photos.
